ROSALIND MUNRO

EXPERIENCE:

During a rewarding decade-long career in corporate responsibility and communications, Rosalind developed and ran national volunteering strategies aligned to business priorities such as STEM education and environmental stewardship.   She also oversaw multi-million fundraising campaigns for GE/Help for Heroes and Morgan Stanley/Great Ormond Street Hospital as well as grants and matched giving programmes.  Her social sector experience includes developing sustainable funding models for charity start-ups and acting as a Trustee for The Funding Network.

Over time, she became particularly interested in helping lesser-known charities to gain profile among the business and philanthropic communities, leading to bold collaborations and growth.  Motivated by this, she founded Primrose Consultancy.  She has now teamed up with Marelisa with the vision of realising social change across the private, public and social sectors in the UK and Latin America.

APPROACH:

Diverse experience in-house and with agencies in London and Beijing has taught Rosalind that organisations and people with a giving mindset tend to be more productive and purposeful.  Rosalind believes in discovering and nurturing the value each individual and organisation can offer. She creates effective programmes and partnerships by building rapport between people at all levels and from different sectors.  Her passion for her work is self-evident.

INTERESTS:

Rosalind loves the great outdoors and cooking for family and friends. She tries to stay fit with strength training, yoga & wild swimming.  She always has a book on the go.

MARELISA VEGA

EXPERIENCE:

With a lifelong predisposition to helping people, Marelisa started her career as an educator and researcher, focussing on children and youth with special needs. Along the way, she realised that inclusion for people with disability could not be possible without an inclusive culture, more generally, so she turned to nonprofit management. Seeking to delve even deeper beyond a single charity’s mission, she became a social impact consultant, working across public, private and social sectors in Latin America. Recognising the invaluable potential of a socially responsible private sector, she moved to the UK to work with some of the world’s biggest companies, such as GE, to catalyse positive impact, both in communities and within organisations.

Marelisa has a Master’s Degree in Social and Developmental Psychology from the University of Cambridge, a Non-profit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Visual Arts from Barnard College, Columbia University.

APPROACH:

Marelisa starts by building relationships and engaging diverse people in order to find collaborative solutions to complex social challenges such as crime, social inclusion and youth development. She integrates design thinking, the arts, psychology and restorative practices to facilitate these processes.

INTERESTS:

Marelisa loves climbing mountains, running marathons and trails, traveling the world, philosophising, eating and cooking creatively and lots of socialising.
